The Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving public policy and management by fostering excellence in research, analysis, and education. With over 2,000 academic, practitioner, organizational, and institutional members, APPAM promotes its mission through the annual Fall Research Conference, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM), the association’s journal, several awards programs, and various activities including international and national conferences and workshops.

Fall Research Conference
This is a multi-disciplinary event that attracts the highest quality research on a wide variety of important current and emerging policy and management issues. The conference is comprised of panels, roundtables, workshops, symposia, and poster presentations and is attended by nearly 2,000 academics, researchers, practitioners, and students.
Since 1986, the Spring Conferences have usually been devoted to topics of interest to public policy educators. Topics explored are often issues that are of concern to APPAM’s institutional members. This meeting typically draws about 100 attendees.
Held annually, the international research conferences attracts the best researchers from around the world and covers topical issues in the public policy community. This conference is held over two days conference is a combination of papers and panel presentations.
